The Parent Association will no longer be coordinating the carpool list. Instead we have agreed to use a free service provided by Ride Finders called SchoolPool. This service is very user friendly and will help families find others that have signed up for the service that are close to them. All families who were apart of the PA’s Carpool list were automatically signed up for this free service and should have received a welcome email from SchoolPool today that contains instructions on how to access the service. For those that would like to be a part of the service you can sign up at the following website:

When you get to this page in the middle you will see a button for “Create New Schoolpool Profile”. When you click that button it will take you to the very easy set up instructions to create your profile. When asked you will need to put in our school code with is GCAA to complete your set up.

Again, thank you to Tim Gray for connecting us to this great service. If you have questions about this please contact John Klein at

The Metro Bus and Metrolink are also viable options to get to school, especially now that the Grand Metrolink station is reopened. Parents who are not familiar with using the bus system can practice riding with their children until they feel comfortable. Not only will it help the environment, it will also foster a stronger sense of independence and maturity in your student.
