Just as our school is growing, the GCAA Parent Association (PA) grows right along with it. We meet regularly on the second Monday of each month (Mondays assure that we will not be fighting theater or concert traffic) at 6:30 in the north cafeteria. We also maintain the GCAA Parent Yahoo Group, a closed online forum for discussion about issues and ideas related to helping GCAA be the best possible place for our kids. This year, our officers are:

• President:  Mindy Carney, mom to Joerdan, 9^th grade 
• Vice President:  Rhonda Holt, mom to Quinn, 7^th grade 
• Secretary:  Michele Thomas, mom to Isabel, 7^th grade
• Treasurer:  Crystal Dancy, mom to Aevion, 9^th grade

We are committed to making the most of this school year and the resources available – especially other parents!  If you want to get involved, make sure you are part of the Yahoo group (join at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/GrandCenterArtsAcademy/) , and join us.  Meet with us in person each month so that we can get to know each other, you can get to know the administration of the school, and you can get involved in whatever area suits you best!
