Erica Snelson, college counselor, shares the exciting news:
“Grand Center Arts Academy has its first two high school graduates.
Friday, December 18, 2015, was the last day of high school for two seniors, Antonio Mosley and Tyler Smith. Antonio has been a student at GCAA since it opened in 2009 as a seventh grader, while Tyler came in as a freshman after being homeschooled. Both young men are a part of the theater department, and they have participated in multiple theater productions over the years.
Antonio and Tyler decided they wanted to concentrate on preparing for their future and opted for an early graduation, although both will participate in the graduation ceremony with their senior class in May 2016.
Antonio is enrolling in the Andy Neiman Kinesthetic Exploratory Improvisation Workshop. He will work on his craft of acting through this workshop while continuing the interview process to join The Meisner Center in Los Angeles in the fall.
Tyler is busy preparing for the USA Hockey America’s Showcase in Pittsburgh in April. He plans to take a gap year from school in 2016-17 to play junior hockey. He then intends to enroll in college in 2017-18 to study psychology or biology.”
