GCAA students traveling to New York as part of local theater production

A local production is heading to New York City in March, and four students from Grand Center Arts Academy are going, too. The play, "Cover," is an original work by a doctoral student at Missouri Baptist University. One of our teachers, Brandon Riley, is an assistant director of the show. The content is challenging, and is meant to bring awareness to a problem that happens in cities across the country, even in St. Louis. Two shows are scheduled this weekend at Missouri Baptist University.  For more about the story, follow this link.  GCAA theater teacher Brandon Riley had this to say:  "I am really excited for this opportunity for our GCAA students to perform In NYC in a meaningful piece. Our girls have shown a level of talent and awareness that is beyond their years. Students like these remind us of the potential for positive change in the world."
