Makerspace Open House
Tuesday, January 13, 2015 – 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Inviting all GCAA families to an evening of hands-on education, food, and fun!
Join GCAA Makerspace Manager Andrew Goodin and his colleagues from the Disruption Department to learn how the Maker Movement is transforming the way students learn. Makerspace emphasizes a learn-through-doing approach, so come prepared to try your hand at various types of design projects from three Maker Stations. We will also have a cheese tray, various dips, sandwiches, cookies, and punch to fuel your creativity.
Please bring your donation of recyclables, such as toilet paper rolls and plastic containers, batteries, wire, and other maker materials. For a full list of supplies, visit https://gcaamakerspace.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/we-need-your-junk/.
