I just wanted to pass along a few photos from our trip so far. I probably have about 500 by now, but these are a few of my favorites. The kids are having a great time and learning a ton. They've made friends from New Mexico, South Dakota, North Dakota, Louisiana, Colorado, and California. Monday night, the kids participated in a Mock Congress and were outstanding. All of the Close Up staff were commenting on how great they were because they were so into it and participating 110%. They definitely made GCAA and myself proud! Thanks again for all of your support- this trip has definitely been worth all the work that went into it.Close Up "partners with educators, schools, and youth organizations throughout the country to help young people develop the skills and attitudes to become informed and engaged citizens. Since 1971, nearly 800,000 participants have participated in Close Up programs."
