A Message from Matt Fredrickson, Newly Appointed Principal for GCAA

A MESSAGE FROM MATT FREDRICKSON, NEWLY APPOINTED PRINCIPAL FOR GCAA Dear GCAA Students, Parents, and Staff: I hope that your Spring Semester is moving right along and you are enjoying some of the warmer weather we are having in St. Louis. I write to say thanks for all of the warm wishes and welcomes sent my way over the past few weeks. I am absolutely honored to have this opportunity and thrilled to bring my career back to the arts community as your principal. It is my goal to lead in a way that will further solidify community support and unite us in our mission to help all kids realize their potential and develop 21st Century readiness. I look forward to opportunities meeting members of the GCAA community and to learn more about your interests and passions. You will find that my style is to be visible and accessible to the staff, students and community of the GCAA and to work together to achieve our mission. After 20 years of service at various levels, I am excited about this new chapter. While we will always have challenges ahead of us, I think you will find that my style is to confidently lead in a collaborative way as we move forward. I believe the heart of every plan and the solution to every problem begins with positive relationships. As your principal, you can count on me to work hard, to listen, to collaborate and to lead with an authentic passion. I will fully transition to GCAA by July 1. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to follow me on Twitter: @pesanne11. You can also contact me by email at fredericksonm@sbcglobal.net My wife, Alison, and children {Laura (17), Nathan (15), and Joel (12) } and I look forward to becoming connected to the GCAA community and working together in the very near future. Sincerely, Matt Matt Frederickson, PhD
