Mrs. Black’s Students mix math, imagination and get creative results

As a final assessment for the semester students were assigned the task of generating a math project based on certain criteria. Students were provided a list of topics from which to choose.  Some of the topics were solving two-step equations and inequalities, distinguishing expressions from equations and converting mixed numbers to improper fractions.  Students could express their artistic talent and creativity in multiple ways.  A few of the various ways students demonstrated their imagination and aptitude included producing a video, drawing a cartoon, constructing a cross word puzzle and preparing a power point presentation.
