On Tuesday, Oct. 30, our eighth grade students will participate in the Adventures in Science and Medicine Program at St. Louis University. Our students will be viewing a 3-D movie on the human body and its organ systems, followed by a pig heart dissection in a state-of-the-art facility on the university campus. This amazing experience is a whole day walking field trip, and parent volunteers are welcome to join us. Field trip forms have been sent home, and must be returned by Friday, October 26th. A generous grant has made this event possible at a minimal cost of $2.00 per student, which should be brought to school with the signed permission form. Students will also need to bring a lunch on the day of the trip. Please feel free to contact Ms. Hellman at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in attending, or if you have any questions about the event.
