Science and Medicine Adventure for 8th Graders

On Tuesday, Oct. 30, our eighth grade students will participate in the Adventures in Science and Medicine Program at St. Louis University.  Our students will be viewing a 3-D movie on the human body and its organ systems, followed by a pig heart dissection in a state-of-the-art facility on the university campus.  This amazing experience is a whole day walking field trip, and parent volunteers are welcome to join us.  Field trip forms have been sent home, and must be returned by Friday, October 26th.  A generous grant has made this event possible at a minimal cost of $2.00 per student, which should be brought to school with the signed permission form.  Students will also need to bring a lunch on the day of the trip.  Please feel free to contact Ms. Hellman at if you are interested in attending, or if you have any questions about the event.
