This summer we launched a new student information system. The staff at Grand Center has been working very hard to make sure information is updated in the new system so that when we send out information it reaches you at the correct number or address. Along with the updating we have also been doing a lot of training on the system with the staff as well.
In the next week we will be training the instructional staff on how to set their grade books up in the information system. As we are doing that we will also be simultaneously setting up the parent portal component of our information system and sending out information on how to access your student(s) information.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to train our staff on the functions of this new system. We have the auto-dialing feature working now and appreciate the vital feedback we received from some families on that component. From that feedback we have made adjustments to how the calls are made and will continue to do that each time until we get the right combination down. The same goes for each communication tool that we bring online for our parents and families. Your input on how to make things better for all is valuable feedback and we couldn't ask for better partners in the educational setting.
